Do you blog? WorkFlow Studios news via myRSS.com
Weblogs, blogs for short, have recently hit the mainstream consciousness of the net. If you already have a blogging tool like radio from http://radio.userland.com, then you can now subscribe to WorkFlow Studios blog through a new service offered by myRSS.com. Their site creates RSS channels out of ordinary websites. Here is more information about myRSS and how they've set up our channel. If you've seen the XML Coffee Cup icon on various sites, that is a radio.userland link for subscribing to that site's blog. If this is all greek to you, and you want to find out more about blogging, this search on google returns some pretty useful links.
Sometime next month, maybe by newsletter time, we'll introduce a product we're working on for blogging with Notes, code-named "Studio Blogs". Studio Blogs is a Notes/Domino application that gives companies a tool for creating blogs with Notes clients or browsers. Using the Notes security model, the blog administrator can set who can create blogs (employees and/or extranet). As a blog creator, you can determine which blogs you will subscribe to for content within your own blog. An example of this would be the department blog that picks and chooses content from individual bloggers within the department. The blog creator can also determine who will be able to view the blog within the constraints imposed by the overall blog administrator.
Stay tuned to this channel for more info.
